We have the need to store not just fuels but also waste oils, coolant and lubricants. Can I use your self bunded tanks for these fluids?

Yes. Our tanks are suitable for most industrial fluids, including cement! We can tailor a storage solution for your business in detail.

Our operation is subjected to strict environmental regulation and HSSE rules. Are these tanks compliant?

Correct. Our tanks are automatically compliant to environmental laws as they have built in bunding – which is the containment section which ensures that in the event of a tank failure or leak, the product is contained and does not contaminate the soil. They also have built in safety features such as safety valves, over fill protection and tank gauging as options.

What size options do these tanks come in?

We have storage tanks from 1000 litres all the way to 1000 KL (1 million) if interlinked. Individual tank maximum is 72 000 litres.

How do they get to site once they are built?

This depends on where your operation is located. Because the tanks are essentially shipping containers, numerous freight options exist to deliver them to site such as Sea and road freight.

How much on site work is required in order to get the tank farm actually operational?

A minimal of time is required on site. The tanks are delivered 90% ready to work. All that is required is a hard stand or plinth for the tanks to stand on, power and fluid to be added and you are operational!

What if I need to add more storage in the future?

The tanks can be interlinked very easily to expand your storage.  We can add tanks to your installation any time.

We have an open PIT that moves over time. How do I cope with that?

This is a built in benefit of a containerised fuel tank farm. Our tanks can be easily re-located for expansion of your operational area.

Do I need to contract an outside engineering company to do the design drawings?

No. Siyathembana have this service in house for you. We will take care of the technical planning and layout function for the entire project.  In fact we provide a complete turnkey solution for you.
